In 2018 when I first started this blog, my intention was to present a more mature perspective on life to younger people and start a more civil discussion on lifestyles and politics than I had been seeing from media of all types. As time went by, I, like everyone else, became consumed by the relentless political chaos of the day and it became more and more difficult to avoid what could be perceived as a too partisan discussion on the events we’ve experienced. Now, I would like to offer you something that is completely nonpartisan and designed to do nothing but entertain you.
A few weeks ago, I passed a major milestone in the evolution of this blog. I surpassed 100,000 responses to my postings. The comment most frequently expressed by readers is that you enjoy my style of writing. Over the years I have written many articles and essays and several novels. Today I have just released a new novel on Amazon titled Three Women. It is by far the best work I have ever done and it feels to me like my gift to humanity. It is truly a good old fashion story about a Baby Boomer’s journey through life from young adulthood in the 1960s to mature manhood. It will excite you, make you laugh and make you cry. Best of all, given these trouble times of relentless anxiety producing news, it offers no political or racial commentary. It seeks to do nothing but entertain you with a good story; something I think we all can use right now.
I feel so excited about the entertainment value of this story that if I could, I would share with the whole world for free. Since that’s not possible, I asked the publisher to set the price as low as possible without me having to buy it myself. That price turned out to be $19.95. Once you read it, I know you will consider it money well spent. Trust me, if I didn’t sincerely believe that were true, I would not go out of my way to recommend it to you. After all, relationships are more valuable than money, and I hope to continue my relationship with you for many years to come.
While readers of all genders will thoroughly enjoy this story, I think it will be particularly enjoyable for women. It challenges the reader to determine how positive or negative were the impact of the three powerful women who fashioned the central character, Arthur Adams’ outlook on life and were the filters through which his self-image was viewed. It think it offers insight and a unique perspective of the role women had in creating the male dominated ethos of the culture that has culminated into the Me Too, Times Up and Black Lives Matter movements we are living through today. This insight is presented in passing and not at all central to the story and in no way offers any clues as to the writer or the protagonist’s views on any such issues. You will find it to be a roller coaster of emotions. At times comical, at times sad and at times edge-of-your-seat level exciting.
The ordering information is on the column to the right on this page. I want to thank you for considering my thoughts these past few years. I hope they were as helpful to you as your feedback has been to me. Please enjoy the book as a token of my thanks.
